Vincente K. Tibbs Senior Building: This building offers 152 Section 8 Project Based Voucher (PBV) units, including efficiency and one-bedroom apartments designed for independent living. Eligible residents include low-income seniors (age 62+) and persons with disabilities 55 years of age and older. The waiting list for these senior apartments ranges from three (3) to five (5) years.
Westmoor Gardens Multi-Family Complex: Constructed as a Section 8 New Construction project, Westmoor Gardens provides housing for 64 families, offering one to four-bedroom units, including one handicapped unit and seven modified units for persons with disabilities. Eligibility is determined by gross family income, with unit size based on family size. This federally subsidized project ensures affordability for tenants while maintaining project viability. Additionally, the property features the Westmoor Cafe, a venue for low-cost rental for family events, and a space for tenant meetings and functions. The waiting list for family apartments spans ten (10) years.
