As the principal housing authority serving Nashville and Davidson County, the Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency (MDHA) is dedicated to providing comprehensive housing solutions. With a skilled workforce of nearly 350 employees and a substantial budget of $167 million, MDHA supports approximately 30,000 residents. This support is primarily facilitated through close to 8,000 Section 8 Vouchers and over 6,700 apartment units across 39 properties, including Project-Based Rental Assistance (PBRA) homes. Notably, this portfolio includes six mixed-income developments that feature a blend of subsidized, workforce, and market-rate housing options.
